Join us on February 9th for Super Museum Sunday!
Super Museum Sunday is an annual event coordinated by the Georgia Historical Society as part of the Georgia History Festival, to commemorate the founding of Georgia. The event was started here, in Savannah, by the Coastal Museums Association. The goal of the event was to promote Savannah and coastal area sites. The Georgia Historical Society took over the event in 2001 and under their purview, has expanded participation statewide.
This year, there are 101 participating sites all over the beautiful state of Georgia, showcasing the states rich history. A full list of participating sites and interactive map can be found at Super Museum Sunday.
